I really enjoyed the training and picked up a lot of useful skills which I have used often for my daily tasks at work. I enjoyed the session over Zoom and found it very engaging due to the high levels of interaction required. Paul and Steve offered lots of support throughout and made me feel comfortable to ask any questions and shout if I was struggling. I found the exercise booklet really useful for consolidating my knowledge and I really liked having the option to use the more challenging instructions as well as the standard instructions.

I found the powerpoint and support materials particularly helpful in explaining the different formula and providing examples so I could see how each formula worked. I think this will be a great resource going forwards as it clearly explains things so it is easier to apply it to other data. I came into the course thinking that I was quite advanced with Excel but it's been refreshing to find out theres so much more you can do with Excel than what I previously thought. Learning about the basic analytics you can do with excel was also really useful. The interactive nature of the course ensures that you actually learn what is taught, and this is reinforced by the tasks at the end which allow you to use what you've learnt in a contextual format. I found the training really helpful and the pace of going through the exercises was great. I particularly thought the examples used when doing each of the formulas was really helpful. Both trainers explained what exactly each function did, and how it was useful, which made it clearer when coming to creating the formulas myself. The exercise was a great way to summarise the knowledge I had learned, I particularly liked how there was a more in-depth version of instructions for those people who are less knowledgeable in excel.

This is my second course done with Red Tiger Consulting and it did not disappoint. The whole process was well organised and well run, with both Steve and Paul taking a suitable pace for the course level. I found that whilst at Uni they teach you all the technical elements, they don't spend the time teaching you the basics, like Excel properly. This course however really covered everything, and used engaging examples to keep relevance and ease of learning. The final assessment was brilliant. I opted for the 'easy' instructions as I really wanted to consolidate my learning and I felt it really honed in on what we learnt during the course. Looking to book onto the advanced course as I type this!
