Our MS Excel Courses
Our Excel training courses focus on bringing to life the extensive features and functions of the software, ranging from basic tools to more advanced visualisation and analytics functions. We offer 4 courses that are suitable for different user experience levels. Hundreds of participants have already benefitted from our Excel training experience.
Basic Excel
The Basic Excel course is designed for Excel novices who have little or no experience in using the spreadsheet tool. The course will include a range of examples and templates of how to use Excel in study, home, or business life.
Intermediate Excel for Analysis
This course is designed for users who have at least a basic understanding of Excel or those experienced users who require a refresher. This course is guaranteed to take your Excel ability to the next level.
Advanced Excel for Analysis
This course provides training and practical examples of a wider range of Excel features and functions in support of heavy duty data analysis. This course is advanced and is a logical follow-on from the Intermediate course.
Advanced Excel for Visualisation
This course focuses on creating visualisations to aid data insight & reporting using a plethora of example charts to use in your own work. This course is advanced and is a logical follow-on from the Intermediate course.

Intermediate Excel for Analysis Course
Every year since 2019, we have run an Intermediate Excel for Analysis course in connection with the University of Leeds. We provide our training for 2nd and 3rd year School of Geography students as part of their career skills modules, helping them to develop their knowledge and use of Excel.

Steven Halsall
Founding Director
Steve is the co-founder of Red Tiger Talent, Coaching and Consulting. He has worked in analytics for over 25 years with various senior roles in consulting and client side. He is also an experienced entrepreneur – having successfully started 5 businesses to date, two of which went on to be acquired.
Paul Halsall
Founding Director
Paul has over 20 years of experience working for a variety of organisations. His career started with 15 years’ experience in a range of analytical roles in retail, leisure and telecommunications sectors utilising skills such as SQL, GIS, and MS Excel and culminated in him leading a global analytics team of 8 people.
