Red Tiger Training provide a wide range of live, interactive technical and soft skills training to suit all skill and experience levels. Technical courses include MS Excel (Basic, Intermediate and 2 x Advanced), MapInfo Professional and QGIS.
OUR MS EXCEL COURSES
Basic
Excel Training
The Basic Excel course is designed for Excel novices who have little or no experience in using the spreadsheet tool. The course will include a range of examples of how to use Excel in study, home or business life.
Intermediate
The Intermediate Excel course is designed for users who have at least a basic understanding of Excel or those experienced users who require a refresher. This course is guaranteed to take your Excel ability to the next level.
Advanced I
This course provides training and practical examples of a wider range of Excel features and functions in support of heavy duty data analysis. This course is advanced and is a logical follow on from the intermediate course
Advanced II
This course focuses on creating visualisations and outputs to aid data insight, reporting or dashboards. You will be armed with a plethora of example charts to use in your own work. This course is advanced and is a logical follow on from the intermediate course
OTHER TRAINING & WORKSHOPS
MapInfo Professional
This tried and tested course is initially designed for Location Planners but can be applied to many other uses of GIS. The course covers many areas including (but not limited to) handling and displaying data, Creating Workflows, Navigating Maps, Adding data to workspaces, Mapping Layers, Working with tables, Queries and Thematic Maps.
There is also a final exercise to follow which brings together all your training and tests your learnings from the course.
QGIS
This course follows the MapInfo Professional course we also run, but this time covering how to use QGIS instead.

Steve is the co-founder of Red Tiger Consulting/Talent and is the lead on Red Tiger Consulting/Coaching. He has worked in analytics for over 25 years with various senior roles in consulting and client side. He is also an experienced entrepreneur – having successfully started 5 businesses to date, two of which went on to be acquired.
Paul Halsall
Paul has over 20 years of experience working for a variety of organisations from 2 employees up to 100k+ employees. Paul’s career started with 15 years’ experience in a range of analytical roles where he applied his analytics in retail, leisure and telecommunications sectors utilising skills such as SQL, GIS, and MS Excel and culminated in him leading a global analytics team of 8 people.
